Report: Possible Hostage Situation at Ubisoft Montreal

“Dozens” of individuals are at the moment being held hostage in Ubisoft’s Montreal, Canada workplace, Canadian information group Journal de Montreal stories (by way of The Post Millennial). This is a growing story. 

News of the scenario started circulating first on Twitter, with a small group of bystanders sharing movies of Swat groups close to the Ubisoft Montreal workplace. All workers at the moment working in Ubisoft’s Montreal workplace have reportedly been despatched to the constructing’s roof. 

Eric Pope, a senior neighborhood supervisor at Ubisoft Montreal, has shared footage from a neighborhood information broadcast of the unfolding scenario.

Numerous Ubisoft workers have posted to Twitter to both say they are safe or want their colleagues well. Due to the continuing police operation within the space, the Montreal police division is asking folks to steer clear of the close to neighborhood.
