Original article: June 8, 2021 (6:39 AM ET): A range of websites appear to be knocked offline or are affected by intermittent entry proper now, and the perpetrator appears to be a significant content material supply community (CDN) supplier.
The likes of The Verge, Reddit, Pinterest, Twitch, The Guardian, Stack Overflow, and the BBC are all affected by the outage, which appears to be attributable to a significant subject with CDN supplier Fastly (h/t: Matt Taylor).
“We are continuing to investigate this issue,” reads the newest replace from Fastly on its status dashboard at 10:26 AM UTC (6:26 AM ET). The dashboard itself reveals “degraded performance” throughout nearly all its nodes.
