Arcane trailer: Netflix’s League of Legends series is here

Arcane, the primary full League of Legends animated series, has a trailer. Riot and Netflix launched the primary take a look at the series on Friday as half of Netflix’s Geeked Week occasion.

The series appears to largely happen within the the great techno-paradise of Piltover and its twin metropolis Zaun, a spot of unchecked technological terror. The two cities are always at odds with each other, with members of Zaun spilling out into the streets of Piltover to trigger varied types of mayhem and chaos.

This newest clip focuses on Jinx, a chaos-loving prison from Zaun. But earlier than she was the gun-wielding character League followers know in the present day, she was the sister of one of Piltover’s finest law enforcement officials, Vi. The clip offers us transient flashbacks to Jinx’s previous along with her sister and lets her get out some of the resentment that’s constructed between the 2. It appears this relationship will play a central function in Arcane, which is able to hopefully give us extra of the backstory on each characters.

Arcane is being produced internally by Riot Games in collaboration with Fortiche Productions, which has labored often with Riot on animated shorts for League of Legends up to now, together with the Okay/DA animated music video for Pop/Stars.

Arcane is set to hit Netflix in fall 2021.
